1 USB-UIRT for two DirecTV Set top boxes

Hi all. I have a Hauppauge PVR 500 capture card and as I understand it, I need to have 2 STB's (I have direcTV) connected to the card. The question is can I use the one USB-UIRT (purchased in August '06) I already have to control both STB's? I found an old thread from sub in '04 that explained how to modify the USB-UIRT config file to create "zones" to use both STB's, see here:

Yes, it should still work. I've never tested it myself, but I've read about it on the USB-UIRT forums.
