Hi,
I've got a Hauppauge Nova-T USB2 running under winXP (in the UK).
My problem is this:
When I try to watch or record a program on any of the BBC channels (BBC1,BBC2,BBC3,BBC4), I get a black screen (livetv) or an empty recording. The channels work perferctly well when using Hauppauge's WinTV2000 player.
The strangest thing is that I can get the BBC channels to work in GB-PVR if I repeatedly swap between one of the BBC channels and any of the others that work (e.g. channel4). After doing this 4 or 5 times, the BBC channel usually appears and the other BBC channels are available if I jump directly to them. However, if I change to a non-BBC channel, I have to go through the process again for the BBC's to work.
The BBC channels don't appear in the channel listings when I do the initial channel scan (in config), but appears immediately if I rescan for channels. I'm not sure that reception strength is the issue here, as the channels come in clearly without any chopping or spikes when they first appear. Additionally, scanning for channels in WinTV2000 finds the BBC channels imediately without any problems.
This isn't a new problem as it has been like this since I first started using GB-PVR, 3 releases ago. As a result, I am using GB-PVR as the first tool for watching/recording all the non-BBC channels and WinTV for watching the BBC channels.
Thanks for your help
