Mouse cursor does not disappear

the mouse cursor does not disappear, when I am watching a recorded show.
What could cause this problem :confused:

Does it disappear of you move it a bit and then let it go? I had this problem when my computer woke up from hibernation...

Yes, that seems to work (but I think not allways).
I think it's the same problem that you had.
How have you solved it?

I didn't I still haven't gotten hibernate to work properly on my new computer (not that I have tried too hard, but still...), so I actually don't know if the problem exists for me anymore. On my old computer (an Epia, by the way), I always had the problem, so I always had to bring out that mouse and move it a bit if I wanted the mouse pointer to disappear...

My HTPC is also an EPIA and the hibernate mode works fine!
The only problem I have is that strange cursor. :confused:

I have observed this behavior and found out that the cursor
sometimes only disappears, when I move the mouse so that
the osd will be shown (after the osd is hidden again the mouse also disappears).
