I'm not sure if this is the right place for this or not, but whatever.

I know a lot of people have suggestions about the Sleeptimer and whether it should hibernate, sleep, close GBPVR, or completely shut down... but how about if it just stopped whatever you were watching (i.e. Live TV, Recording, Video, etc.)?

That way GBPVR could still run and do its thing and when you wake up you still have it on your screen, but you don't have to listen to TV all night if you left it on. And... your power management can still take over after a while too when everything has stopped so your computer can eventuall shutdown (or whatever) if you want it to (wow, thats too big of a run-on to even correct!). See, it makes everyone happy!

I second this request if someone was looking to tweak/improve the already awesome plugin *little bit of sucking up there*

I leave my HTPC on all the time and would appreciate this feature as well... I usually end up watching pre-recorded shows before crashing out for the night so that way I know when it is finishes the screen saver will kick in and I won't wake up in the middle of the night to an off air channel or loud infomercials.

I really liked the Sleep timer function that Betlit added to the shutdown app but unfortunately it would shut down the whole computer and I would wake up to the loud "snow" when the input source was gone.

get the newest version of the shutdown plugin in the wiki

you can specify 'exit to main menu' as the sleep timer 'shutdown-function'.
AMD 1600mHz, 512 M RAM, 20+160 GB drive, Hauppauge PVR-350 + PVR-150 + PVR-150MCE, Win XP Pro SP3, using software decoding.

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.
