How exactly do the size values relate between the filelist container element, special element icon view, and the icon view composite images. I am attempting to create a 3 row by 6 column container list for the default music playback icon view, but I am finding that the x,y sizing variables are not 1:1. Is this Normal? How is it calculated?

Are you using a widescreen screen? I think you need a widescreen skin for widescreen screens and 4:3 skins for 4:3 screens, otherwise you'd get weird ratios... But I'm not a skinner, so I'm not sure.

The distortion is not due to an aspect ratio issue. I am working with a 128x720 skin. The Sassari skin, which is also 1280x720, only uses 3 rows and 4 columns but does not have the distortion issue. It keeps a 1 to 1 ratio. If I try to modify said skin to contain my desired row/ column set it has the same issue. I have a feeling it is either a limitation, or my own misunderstanding of how the values effect the individual elements.

There is nothing special about it. You should be able to create 3x6 column list.

If you zip and email your skin to me at support@devnz.com, I'll take a look what you've done wrong.
