Forgive me, I'm not really qualified with this stuff. :p

Anyway, I got it all working and the image quality with this program is far superior to my manufacturers program.

But yeah, problem, I hear nothing and sometimes static bursts when I try and view HD channels. Video is working perfectly on HD channels though.

If anyone could help that would be fan-bloody-tastic. Smile

Its probably related to the audio decode you're using. Try the options you've currently got available on the playback tab of the config app. If none of those help, try installing AC3Filter.

I installed that but it's still the same. Sad

I'll try using the Realtek audio drivers as at the moment I'm using nVidias.

Try installing FFDSHOW. Open up the audio configuration and check to make sure AC3 is using liba52 as the decoder.

When you open a HD file in Windows Media Player what audio decoder is listed in the properties?

I'll give it a try.

I don't have a HD file to check that with.
