Norwood Micro Card supported?

I set up GBPVR with a Norwood Micro card (compUSA). The card is detected as a Conexant Blackbird (2388x Chipset). When I hit record the file size stays 0.

Some more info:
Tuning assistant says: "ConnectPins failed!" and
"Failed to connect pinNameCrossbarAudiodecoderOut to pinNameCaptureAnalogAudioIn" but it does find the channels although w/o audio. BTW: This card has a 3.5 mm out to the sound card's line in cable

Live Tv does give the error of "No tuners are available to watch the requested channel. You can choose to watch one of the currently recording programmes."

Has anyone successfully used this card with GBPVR or is this just not working?
The hw compat. list shows Conexant Blackbird but no drivers - so does that just mean : no luck or may I post a specific log file/setup?

To be honest, I've never heard of it so I dont know if it works or not. If its got the required hardware MPEG2 encoder, then it might work, but will probably need a new section added to the direct.ini file with the appropriate names.

The Conexant 2388x seems to be a Video capture and MPEG Encoder but I am not an expert and this is just from a quick web search. It could be as well just software encoding which takes place with that card although I do not see significant CPU load when recording. The TV Tuner card was bought in the US, it was on sale for ~20 USD and only supports mono audio with no direct path of audio via the pci bus to the motherboard. The software is pretty simple and not flawless. That is why I would like to get GBPVR running with it. I mentioned that the audio out is plugged into the soundcards line in.

Is it difficult to modify this ini file you mentioned to attempt making this card usable- if possible at all?

I've just googled on this card, and sorry it doesnt sound like it has the required hardware MPEG2 encoder.

I have considered for a while already upgrading to a Hauppauge 150/250/350
card. Now it is time to do it.
