Hello,

I've been looking for a replace for ATI's crappy Multimedia Center. GBPVR is almost perfect except for one thing : the TV images appears 'shaky'. This effect is very noticeable with straight lines ; they keeps jumping up and down and its so annoying. The log files are attached.

Thank you

EDIT : forgot to mention that the picture looks fine in other software like WinDVR so its has nothing to do with my monitors

I see you're currently using ffdshow - have you tried using other video decoders?

Can you attach a set of logs which are not using ffdshow?

Does it do this shaking with both live tv and playing back recordings?

Does it also do it with the Overlay renderer?

What is your deinterlacing setting set to on the misc tab of the config app? It should be 'encoder passthrough'.

-I don't know because everytime I timeshift or record I get 'cannot play file' or something.
-Overlay Renderer won't work. If I enable it, when I click Live TV I will see a second of video and then it will come back to the main menu.
-It is set to encoder passthrough. I tried disabling the deinterlacing but it creates the same results

If you have a nVidia video card, I know what is the problem , and Sub too.

You can try to edit the config.xml and set "TRUE" the "VMR9 fullscreeen exclusive mode" .

Ah, you're using software encoder plugin - this would explain your inability to record or timeshift, and most likely the shaking you describe. Sorry, I really dont know anything about how this plugin works, and I cant provide support for it.

I'm sure your problem would go away if you were using a supported video capture card.
