Enhanced Web Admin (EWA) Build 51 Released

Build 51 of EWA has been released. It is available on the wiki or you can download here.

Date: 2006-11-25 Build Number: 51 Changes:

• UncleJohnsBand: Added .divx as a valid video file in the Video Library.
  
• UncleJohnsBand: Corrected bug with streaming wmv.
  • To correct this you will need to go into Config and reset the codec to store the corrected value.
  
  
• UncleJohnsBand: Moved the Search Results Tree-View option to the Search Results page to make it easier to switch between table-view and tree-view.
  
• UncleJohnsBand: Corrected bug with Genre filter. Some shows were not being shown when the filter when in fact they should have been shown.
  
• UncleJohnsBand: Added new theme for Mobile users. Provides clearer fonts than Blank theme as well as color coding for shows that are recorded, recording, deleted, failed or in conflict.
  
• UncleJohnsBand: Added Photo Library to view Photos via EWA.

UJB Photo viewer is good - means I don't have to write something to look at the images of my security camera. One request though, can we have the file order of the photos selectable, so mayme i could look at most recent first??

UJB, I've thought this worked?, But I did see the title on my IE then I got the can't find servers. So I had remove old WEB folder in gbpvr and replace it with yours. Now nothing comes up? My DYNDNS is active and I can ping it but just can't see the Web Admin still?

You did not remove the complete web-folder, did you?
From the wiki:

• Download a copy from a link above
  
• Stop the Recording Service
  
• Delete all contents and directories in the gbpvr\web folder (except for the bin directory…removing this will cause GBPVR to reinstall the default Web Admin)
  
• Delete only the AjaxPro2.dll and the ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll files from the gbpvr\web\bin direcotry
  
• If a gbweb.dll file exists in the gbpvr\web\bin directory it should be deleted
  
• Extract the zip into your gbpvr folder using the option to use dirctory names. This will load all the files into your gbpvr\web directory and subdirectories.
  
• Restart the Recording Service
  
• Hit Refresh in your Web Browser (important to reload cached files that might have changed)

Hi,

when i change the option to show icon in the tvguide, i always get a server error
while loading the page ... when change it back to only text - everthing is ok.

i done the install as it shown in the wiki ... and cleared the browser cache aswell ....

UJb, very nice release, I like the photolibrary. However (of course ) there are a few requests.
- A button or key-comb. for next photo. maybe forward and backward.
- You have a few preset sizes for displaying photo's. If a photo is turned 90 degr. (portrait) it gets &^%#$^&* except with the actual setting.
Would be nice to have e.g. the setting like: max 640 x max 640. So that it always fits in that 'window' (640x640) but that it is shown as 480x640(portrait) or 640x480(landscape). I hope you get my explanation.
- Maybe a slideshow, although I must admit I hardly ever use it in other programs .

Looking at the new features and I noticed that the directories under my photo albums are mixed up. To be more specific I have four albums in GBPVR. When I click on album 1 its shows the subdirectories and photos belonging to album 2, Album 2 shows album 3's pictures, Album 3 shows album 1's and album is 4 is correct.

If you need any more info then please let me know.

Consider the Photo Library.....Photo Library 1.0. I will work on modifying this functionality to be more robust but it will take some time to get it where I want it to be......I figured this is a good starting point providing general photo access.

I will probably change the preset to be Actual, then % of orignal to cover the vast number of picture sizes. This will ensure the aspect ratio stays correct.

Next/Previous buttons are on the horizon.....

Hmmm....I tested with 4 albums and didn't have any problems......What does your <photolibrarydirecory> line look like in your config.xml file?
