Hi there

I'm very new to gbpvr but I've read alot of post in these forums without being able to solve my issue.

When I try to record from live tv or the guide the folder for the .mpg is created but nothing happens from there.

I have an error in my log that says : ERROR failed to start Conexant Graph - don't know what that means ?

Can anyone explain the graph error ?

I'm using r. 0.98.13b with CyberLink MPEG Muxer VERSION: 5.0.0813 (if that matters) with my Hauppauge HVR 1300 using the digital signal.

Exactly which card type did you select when you set up your capture source?

BTW, every access to the card I can see in the logs relates to analog capture source. Did you also set up a BDA capture source for the digital side?

The card is registered as a Hauppauge HVR-4000 and that is the only one thats showed in gbpvr (when I select to only show installed cards).

I tried to configure GBPVR to use the digital signal... don't understand if everything looks like im using analog.

But then again, I don't know how to configure it to use the digital signal, I just selected cable when I checked for channels and in the capture card configuration.

That card is very different from the HVR1300, so not really appropriate.

Try deleting your capture sources, then ok to restart the config app.

Next create a new capture source, set to use BDA Recording plugin. When you tick the 'only show detected cards' setting, what options are listed?

ok, I did as u suggested and there I found the Nova type of card that I was supposed to use (with HVR 1300).

I created a capture source with this kind of driver/card and now I can record.

Last problem is that when I scan for channels with the nova driver it does'nt find all the channels. Only finds 14 of around 35.

Any ideas ?

Thx alot for helping.

Do a scan, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

I called my ISP who also my tv provider and they cleared it all when they told me only some channels are digital broadcasts.

No problem with the gbpvr software there.

Thanks again
