I seem to have hit the limit.

I can no longer add any more recording types of
"Record Season (all in this daily timeslot, this channel)".

Can I somehow change this setting myself, or is this something that needs to be coded or changed?

While I'm asking, does "Record Season (all episodes on this channel)" record every instance of a program with THAT particular name? Ex X-files shows three times a day on one channel.

All three would be recorded, yes.

Well, that'll free up 2 "spots", but I have 4 "spots" I need, so those 2 are already earmarked.

I'm hoping there's just a simple .xml line I can edit or add Smile

I have more than 3 dayly timeslot recordings on the same channel, so I dont think there is a limitation there.

I have no idea what you're talking about. There are no limits on the number of recordings that can be scheduled for the day.

In the Program Recording Options, under "Record Type", there's an option for "Record Season (all in this daily timeslot, this channel)".

IIRC, I had set up 5-6 recording options using that Record Type. When I tried to add another one, it didn't seem to register (meaning it didn't record).

Also, with any type of recording I had set up like that, it would show a little indicator at the top of the TV Guide so I'd know that something was recording in that time slot, and again, no aknowledgement that I had tried to set up another one.

Lastly, how do I remove one of those recordings as well? Since it daily records that channel at that time, I end up with some programs on the weekends that I'd rather not have (since the show I wish to record doesn't play on Saturday or Sunday in that time slot)

There is no limit on this. You have have as many as you like.

If its not scheduling the recording for you, it might be due to a lack of available tuners at the time.

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Will do.

How do I remove "Record Season" types? My thought was to try to reproduce this quickly by scheduling several within the next few hours, but I want to know how to remove them from ever being recorded again after trying to test this out.

Go into the Recordings Screen, click 'reoccurring' and you'll be shown the list of season recordings. You can cancel them from here.
