Hi,
I have a WinTV HVR1300 and a new MediaMVP all set up and running on Hauppauge software.
I'd like to use gbpvr but I cannot get past the basic config page.
In Capture source I have entered BDA recording plugin and when checking show devices connected I have a selection of Hauppauge units

Nova T (90002)
Hauppauge 3000 (dvb-t)
Hauppauge 4000 (dvb-t)

but not the one in my pc (HVR1300) using Hauppauge software it can pick up both analogue and freeview digital channels.

Which do I choose, Nova t, 3000, or 4000?
Answering my own question I think the 3000 & 4000 are for satelite reception not Antenna.

Next stage, am i correct in that I use Bleb epg, I am in the UK
When I do a channel list upgrade do i then have to map digital channels to epg because when I do it starts scanning but then I get an error message and the whole lot closes down

Sorry its such a long post but its got me beat, I'm sure there must be an easy answer

It should work with the 'Nova T (90002)' option. Let me know if it does, and I'll create a specific HVR1300 section to prevent this confusion in the future. (I dont have one of these devices, so there is a bit of confusion about it in my mind)

Ah, ok - sounds like it doesnt work with that selection. Can you post the logs so I can take a look?

Dont worry, I know this device works with GB-PVR, since others have been using it, but I dont know exactly what card type they selected.

They are text files and the filenames end with .log

If you cant see any .log files, that may mean that Windows is set to "hide the entension of known file types", which is an option you can set in Windows Explorer.

If you hit the rescan button in the 'map digital channels to EPG channels' screen, how many channels does it seem to scan through?

it comes up with 1 to 6 but doesn't get past no 1 before I get the error message "gbpvr has a problem and needs to shut down"

I should be able to get a lot more than 6 though more like 46

Unfortunately I'm at a bit of a loss. Do you manage to find all the channels with the Hauppauge software?

Its frequencies, rather than channels. Each of the channels could carry up to about 8 channels or so.
