I have exhausted my search abilities without a definitive answer, so here is the question. While watching digital TV, the highest definition shows never fill the entire screen of my 1080p-native Westinghouse LVM-37W3. I have the video card set to that 1920x1080 resolution. If I watch a show that OnAir identifies as 1920x1080, it still has black bars on the sides. Is this just "how it is" or can I get full screen without employing fill or stretch or center cut etc.? I have TV set as 16x9, I have the NVIDIA decoder specified for playback, with anamorphic/raw aspect, vmr9 custom--am I missing a setting somewhere that might fill my screen completely?

Yeah, I'd F7 to toggle between aspect ratios to make sure you're not using one thats pillar boxing or simliar.

Also, how are you connected to your TV? VGA, DVI, HDCP, Component?

Does your desktop go to the edges of the screen? ie, GB-PVR can display a picture any bigger than your desktop.

I scrolled through all the F7's, and it still doesn't fill. At best, a 2cm band of black. Connection is DVI cable. It works perfect as a giant monitor, so yes the desktop extends to the edges.

Can you zip and attach a screenshot for me to look at? Include a screenshot of the desktop and a screen with video playing.

Have you tried another video decoder to see if it has the same problem?

Can you reproduce, then zip and attach a gbpvr.exe-native.log?

You didnt view a file or tv in that log. You need to post the log immediately after producing the problem, or the log gets overwritten. That log just shows GB-PVR starting up.
