EWA seems so close to working with my phone that I thought I might ask if anyone has a suggestion.

My phone, a Samsung A900 surfs the web and can access many web sites and run Java, but I cannot log into EWA. I get the login screen and can enter my user id and password, but I cannot click the Login button: the phone doesn't see it as either a link or an enterable field.

Maybe there's just no hope since EWA uses ASP, but I thought I'd ask. Currently I'm running Orb on my GB-PVR box so I can login remotely to schedule recordings, but I'd rather shut it down and use EWA only.

It is a link.....not sure why you would have difficulty.....the pages that you see are standard HTML based pages....with some Java Script on some of them.....all the ASP processing occurs on the server so I don't think that is the issue.

Perhaps its the phones built in web browser? Try Opera Mini http://www.operamini.com, from your phone browser.

It optomises web pages for small displays and runs EWA (with mobile theme) perfectly.

Thank you so much for that recommendation, Stu8080! It works perfectly with OperaMini, or at least as perfectly as a non-WAP aware website can. I'm able to stop running Orb now since I was only running it for remote ability to schedule a recording.

Thanks again!
