Running current release of GBPVR with a Hauppague PVR 150 for the in via S-video, Radeon 9200 for the Output using HD15 connector into my projector. I notice the stuttering or jitteriness or however we classify this on sports events on Live programming (not time shifted or recorded). There's a wealth of information here, yet some settings I try, such as the VMR 9 come up as unsupported when I try to launch live TV and wondering what I should be using for my playback options which are all system defaulted now, and if anyone has similar hardware, what is the sweet spot here to yield the best results? It's a pretty old box (WinXP on Athlon XP 2500+, 1GB RAM) but not ready for the scrap heap just yet.

Thanks

Hardware decoder device is None-use software decoder.

Software MPEG-2 Playback is set to system default for all three options, other ones being available are Intervideo NonCSS video decoder, and Cyberlinks, from PowerDVD I assume.

Bullet is set to VMR9

Just upgraded to 0.99.5 with same results, but looking forward to playing around with the new features!

try using overlay, your video card is not so powerful, and might be getting bogged down by VMR

I think going with Overlay or even VMR 7 is a pretty good compromise; thanks for the suggestions. In reading other posts here, it seems like the CNN crawl is one of the better indicators to check for jitteriness vs my previous benchmark of watching a hockey game.
