Hi Sub,

Here is a suggestion that would be nice to have but, not need to have. When in the EPG, entering a channel number would take you to that channel and highlight it. You could stay on the same hour position and just move to the new number in that hour.

Example:

If you are looking at 7:00 PM channel 100, you could enter 245 and the EPG would jump to channel 245 and highlight the 7:00PM show.

I think this would help speed up EPG show selection.

Thanks for all your GREAT work!!

Have you actually tried this? It works on my machine. Press 2-4-5-enter.

WOW, your fast with the updatesSmile

I tried other buttons on the remote and not the Enter button. I guess I thought it would select the highlighted show and I did not see any numbers on the screen as I input them.

Sorry about that.....
Mike

One other thought I had...It would seem like the Exit button should be hidden when it is being displayed on the MVP or should it should shut off the MVP.

Thanks again!

In the config app you can choose to not display the "exit" button. Also if you are running the mvp software through GBPVR, ie. it manages the connections, even if you hit exit, it will restart everything,

Cheers,
Colin.

Thanks Colin.

I am using it on a PC and MVP. I guess I was looking to not have it restart on the MVP.

In this case I would just remove the exit. Its easy to close apps on the PC without the exit buttonSmile

Colin,

That is normally true, except I have the PC in the basement and the TV out upstairs in the livingroom. This just seemd like a simple change in the code. As I stated, nice to have. Not need....

Thanks for the input,
Mike
