Hi,

I have got my 1300 set up to receive digital TV using Windows Media Center and it works perfect but I cannot get GB-PVR working at all.

I belive the card is set up correctly i.e. BDA drivers-Nova 9002,Bleb for the EPG but , when trying to watch Live TV, I keep getting the message 'No Channels have been setup. Please run the configuration utility and select the EPG source. Use the Update EPG button to force the system to import the latest set of channel and programme information'.

I have been doing this for the last 24 hours and I keep going round in circles
Can anyone please help me to set this card up?

I am in the UK and I have selected the correct area and transmitter

Thanks and Merry Christmas to all

This sounds like you havnt done the channel mapping. You need to click the 'map digital channels to epg channels' button in your capture source settings. On this screen you have the list of EPG channels on the left, and you need to click the 'tuning request' column for each channel and select the digital channel it maps to.

I have done that, and then updated the EPG but I still get the same response from GBPVR.
Thanks for the fast reply by the way

zip and email your gbpvr.db3 file to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look if you've done the mapping correctly.

Ok, got it. You database looks like its only mapped a few of the channels, but it should be enough to at least watch those few channels.

Can you try starting live tv, then zip and attach the logs?

I have managed to 'watch Live TV now but I have meddled so much, I am not sure how I did it but I have accidentally deleted some of the channels including BBC1 and BBC2 now.

How can I get these channles back and also how do I change channel using GBPVR?

Thanks

Its because you've only mapped a few of the channels.

In that 'map digital channels to epg channels' screen, did you click the 'tuning request' column for each and every channel listed on the left of the screen? You need to.

I have accidentally started recording BBC1 (even though i cannot watch it-I can record it!) and I cannot get new EPG update because it is recording. How do I stop this and how I change Channel?

You can cancel a recording on the recordings screen.
