Today I installed both the Hauppauge 150 and wireless MediaMVP. I can now see get TV programs on the PC but want to use the capabilities of GB-PVR to control recordings/playback from the TV. I'm having no luck with this. First, I'm stuck with "Update EPG". From the GB-PVR Configure, I see there is nothing under the "Capture Sources" tab but, I think, there should be. I tried:
1. Click "Add" button
1. Click button "Update EPG"
3. Response is a window called "Save EPG?" and this asks if I want to save the capture source now. I click OK and am told I need to first set up the EPG source.

This is where I get stuck. I don't know what to do now.

Can anyone tell me if I'm on the right track to getting this set up properly?

If I'm not on the right track, what should I do. I did turn off Hauppauge 150 but what now??

Thanks for any help!
Happy Holidays,
Brad

Did you click the settings button next to the EPG Source selection, if not then you'll get this message. You've gotta go in there and set it up.

After creating a Zip2it account, I now have the channels appearing under the channel tab. The GB-PVR is running and I can see the TV-Guide just fine and I also have the GB-PVR MediaMVP Server running. I don't know what I need to set up next. From the TV, I'm not connected to GB-PVR. I should be, right??

A couple of other observations, My WIN-TV is working just fine on the PC and on GB-PVR I the "Live TV" doesn't respond as the other buttons do.

Thanks for any help!

I'm not sure where you're stuck. First, did you connect your MVP to your TV set ? secondly, is there a networkconnection between the MVP and your GBPVR box ? Did you let GBPVR autostart at least 1 MVP server? Did you install the HP server software, if you did, disable the 2 Hauppauge services, if you didn't, don't bother about this.
Make sure on your network a DHCP server is handing out IP adresses (your MVP needs one)
Good luck !

Happy hollidays to all you GBPVR forum junkies out there !

Like SuMo says, we need specifics to help you. What do you see when you turn on the MVP? Pay attention to what it says and let us know. We can help I am sure if we can get a clue about what stage you are at. Hang in there.
