Hi All

Both on my local computer (gbpvr) and laptop
with maxthon 1.5 or maxthon 2.0beta 2 i have some problems with the web search and guide.

when I click to submit a search:

>This program cannot display the webpage
>Most likely causes:
>You are not connected to the Internet.
>The website is encountering problems.
>There might be a typing error in the address.
blah die blah blaaaaa

Same thing when i want to browse in the guide.

Everything is working with IE7, opera.

Is there a way to log the web actions?

As far as I know, everything worked in older 96.12 version...(the one not using .NET 2.0)
Any ideas?

I'm assuming your talking about the web admin feature so I'll move your post to the EWA forum

Not sure.....The error above appears to be a browser error and not something reported by the .Net Framework.

EWA will work on FireFox and IE....I don;t test on Opera or any other browser since between the two that I do test it covers 99.8% of browser usage.

EWA does create logs from the web server. You can access the log from the Statistics tab within EWA or directly from the drive....the logs are stored in the subdirectory under the following path that contains the gbpvrpublic.dll file.....you should find a .log file there.

Code:
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\gbpvr\4d107d39\801bf7b5\assembly\dl3

Let me know what you find out.

SOLVED

it's the option in maxthon:

#Show website's icon if available#

disabled it,
and no problem so far...

Just a note.... I use Opera and the EWA seems to work fine for me.

I highly reccomend Opera. I have been using it for years and the latest releases are rock solid and run absolutely everything except sites with Active X controls.
