At home and at work i can do everything what i want. Manage recordings, Episode search and so on.

Only at work i am not able to skip in time or day with the TV Guide. When I give another date or time and hit the go! button nothing happens. When I do the same thing at home with the local or outside ip-adress it works ok?

When I look on the statistics tab i see the last build is 53

Thanks in advance....

Don

At work do you have some sort of internet protection software such as spy sweeper or something that could be intercepting the java script calls?

Depending on the settings your administrator set, they could be blocking some scripting in IE (or whatever browser). They can usually do this with software as mentioned above you might not even see, the trusted security sites, or by disabling stuff. They could also be using an older version of a scripting engine for compatibility with web based systems the company uses.

Side thought... when you try to do this, do you have an icon on the lower left of the status bar... looks like a document but has a yellow exclamation point and says error next to it? If so, double click that and it will open a debugger saying where the error occurred. It might help.

Gents,

For so far as i know they don't use any special software. The strange thing is that a couple of mounts ago it did work ok. I have reinstalled my GBPVR system and after that i haave this problem.

When i hit the GO! button to skip one day ahead most of the times nothing happens. On the lower left of the status bar apear the word done. Sometimes indeed there is a error message on that place saying

Line: 365
Char: 6
Error: syntax error
code: 0
url: http://............/gbpvr/guide.aspx

(.....=my ip number)

Also did a check on the IE 6 settings and changed internet sequrity to low and enabled everything with java.

Any ideas????

When this occurs do a view page source and then copy past the code here....just the chunk of lines before the line number mentioned in the error to a chunck after so we can see where on the rendered page the error is occuring.

I have hit the GO! button for i think 200 times but the error does not come anymore. The strange thing is that in the 200 times I hit the GO! button two times he did skip to the requested day.

I will try it today on a pc from a friend at his home and lett you know how that was going....

"Share you're knowledge" should be "Share your knowledge"

Just a nitpick from the apostrophe police Smile
