Hi All,
I am looking at the above card to receive free to air satellite in New Zealand.
http://www.avermedia.com/cgi-bin/product...asp?show=1
I see from other posts that this card will work with gbpvr but will I be able to use the remote control that comes with it with gbpvr or will I need a different one ?
For me the downside of this card are the hardware requirements (SDTV Intel Pentium® 4 2.8GHz for TimeShift and Record in MPEG-2) and (HDTV Intel Pentium® 4 3.0GHz for TimeShift). My current hardware will be somewhat underpowered (P4 1.3Ghz, 256MB) And I suppose the Wake-up from S3 (Stand By) /S4 (Hibernate) mode functionality could be useful ?
Are there any other DVB-S cards I could consider ?
thanks.
