Hi,

after I installed the latest version on a new system I encountered several problems. I only once had LiveTV working and now no LiveTV and no functioning recording. All recordings are only 12 seconds long and black screen, no sound. Live TV also black screen, no sound. Sometimes starting LiveTV even freezes the whole PC (hard reset). Tuning assistent shows all channels but starts with an error message that is also included in the GBPVRRecordingservice.log: "ConnectPins failed" and "Failed to connect pinNameCrossbarAudioDecoderOut to pinNameCaptureAnalogAudioIn"

Attached are my log-files:

Thanks for any help here - I am kinda lost..

...and one more thing I just noticed: It actually DID record something but the filesize is enormeous: about 1GB per minute!!!

Perhaps that helps.

You probably have the wrong tunercard selected in gbpvr-config-capturesources.
This seems to happen when you by accident select a 150/250 instead of the 350

Thanks for the reply, but I checked and I did select it right: PVR350! It must be something different.

Any other ideas?

All I can think of is: try another audiorenderer/decoder. Maybe re-install the hauppauge drivers.

Can you run the filtercheck utility, then zip and attach the resulting filtercheck.log? http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=6

Could you try editing the [Hauppauge PVR350] section of direct.ini and setting:

[Hauppauge PVR350]

INIT_MSP=1
SUPPORTS_FM_RADIO=1
MODEL=481xx
FILTER_CROSSBAR=Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Crossbar
FILTER_CAPTURE=Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Capture
FILTER_TV_TUNER=Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II TvTuner
FILTER_TV_AUDIO=Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II TvAudio
PIN_CROSSBAR_VIDEO_TUNER_IN=Video Tuner In
PIN_TVTUNER_ANALOG_VIDEO_OUT=Analog Video
PIN_TVTUNER_ANALOG_AUDIO_OUT=Analog Audio
PIN_TVAUDIO_TV_AUDIO_IN=TVAudio In
PIN_TVAUDIO_TV_AUDIO_OUT=TVAudio Out
PIN_CROSSBAR_AUDIO_TUNER_IN=Audio Tuner In
PIN_CROSSBAR_VIDEO_DECODER_OUT=Video Decoder Out
PIN_CAPTURE_ANALOG_VIDEO_IN=Analoger Videoeingang
PIN_CROSSBAR_AUDIO_DECODER_OUT=Audio Decoder Out
PIN_CAPTURE_ANALOG_AUDIO_IN=Analog Audio In

I edited as you described - but still the same prblem and still the same error message in the log.

shall i proceed with reinstalling the PVR drivers? I downloaded the latest drivers from the Hauppauge pages prior to initial installation: WinTV-PVR-350 base driver:pvr250_driver_118_23257.zip and
WinTV-PVR-350 driver update and middleware: pvr250_middleware_22_23070.exe.

The funny thing is that I had LiveTV running once during the installation/setup process and then even the TuningAssitant worked the way it should. But I did not change anything basic related to PVR350 or GBPVR. The other weired thing is that the recordings show in GBPVR as 12 seconds long and have - as I said - a huge file size. I will now do another recording and manually copy it in the Videos folder and see if they contain any pictures/sound but i guess not...

So again, still hoping for a brilliant idea!
