Since my 99.5 upgrade, my TV Grid is wrong.

Channels (that I think are being broadcast digitaly, but I haven't verified this 100%) have a number in the 800's

I'm Comcast Bridgewater Analog (USA Zip 02324)

Channel 7, which has always been channel 7, is now channel 863. The order is a little random, since channel 62 (SciFi) is 864, and channel 5 is 865, and MTV channel 28 is channel 866.

Any idea's?

This can happen with zap2it when channels are renamed of the order changed. You'll probably find that if you remove channels 7,62,5,28,866,863,865,864 from the capture source channel list (using remove button), then do an Update EPG and they'll probably come in with the correct positions.

You'll probably have to delete those recordings to fix it up.

Ok. I just removed and updated the EPG. Still displaying wrong.

I'll cancel all my recordings, and remove the entire EPG, and Update.

Thanks

You can check they're really gone by looking in the main channels tab in the config app to see if channels are listed for those channel numbers. If there is channels in those positions, then new channels just get allocated the next number at the end of the list (which is why you've ended up like this in the first place).

Its definitely something to do with this, and most likely as a channel name change or channel renumber, which isnt handled automatically, so you'll need to fluff around to sort it out.

I've deleted my entire channels list under both my tuners. (No channels are listed at all)

I switch to the channels tab, and I have 4 channels listed.......

How do I get rid of them?

If you click the 'remove unreferenced channels' button on that screen, do they go away? If not then there are still thinks referring to those channels (probably recordings).

Nope, that didn't get rid of it.

It's ok. I updated the EPG, then just changed the channel number in the channels tab from 861 to the correct channel number.

It looks like it's ok now.
