Just found this and it is so useful (to me anyway Smile ) I thought I'd share it.

Adds a "Open Command Prompt Here" option when you right-click on a folder. No more typing folder names to drill down the filesystem in a DOS window. Smile

this gadget does same thing by adding options to your 'send to' menu. Some extra bells and whistles too, like opening the run dialog and filling it in for you...

Handy. I seem to remember just dragging a folder to a cmd prompt shortcut on the desktop, but it doesn't seem to work now - may have been '98

You can still drag a folder to an open command window... it pastes the name on the command line.

IIRC, the xp powertoys has a similar thing.
