My new PVR is coming along nicely - 2 DVB-T tuners working fine, and now DVDs are playing faultlessly. My next step (and probably the reason I'm doing it!) is to get capturing from my STB. I'm in the UK with NTL digital cable with a Pace 4010 STB. The output from the STB is RGB via a SCART socket.
My question is - how should I capture it? Is the Hauppauge PVR 150 going to prduce a good widescreen image up to the quality of the STB when viewed directly or not? Are there any other capture cards that are better? I also need to get a remote and the Hauppauge or MCE ones that come with the 150 would appear well supported. I'll also get the serial IR blaster to control the box.
All advice appreciated. TIA.
