I bought this a few weeks ago, then I discovered GB-PVR.

It wasn't in the default list of devices, so I edited the BDA.INI file with the appropriate Filter entries. GB-PVR then was able to detect it.

My problem is, it won't tune any channels. It sits there for about 30 minutes trying channels 1 - 57 but at the end says no channels were found. I know the device is working because the software that came with the card works with it, and also TSReader Lite can tune it.

Any suggestions on what I should do to get it to tune channels?

Thanks!

Zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Thanks for the reply, I'll do that when I get home tonight. I really appreciate you taking the time to support this free piece of software.

Here are my log files, zipped up. Obviously you know more than I do about them but it seems as if it's detecting SOMETHING when it's scanning the frequency range.

The cause isnt obvious, but I can see that its failing to start it.

You're not running on Windows MCE?

here is the correct bda.ini setting. I use this card and it works perfectly.

FILTER_CAPTURE=BDA 2883 Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0

PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

Cheers - I'll include the definition in the master file.
