Ok I wanted to start off by saying that this may or may not be specifically GBPVR related.
I recently bought myself a which is great but leaves me with a lack of component inputs on my TV. I only have 2 inputs on my TV. I have my GBPVR in the svid input, my cable box hooked up with the coaxial, and my dvd player/surround sound combo hooked up to the component. To hook up my wii I have to disconnect the dvd player or install a video switch (which I dont want to do.)
The first thing I tried was connecting my wii to the component in on my PVR 150. But due to the way the remote sensor works and where my computer is located, it has to be connected to the TV. The second method I tried was connecting the video out of the DVDplayer/Surround sound system to the component in on the PVR. I ended up with the audio out of sync with the video when watching live tv in GBPVR. Is this a latency issue due to the time it takes for the card to process the information and send it to the TV? Or is the problem with GBPVR processing the image?
My other option is to use the dvd player on my gbpvr computer but the sound is throughouly screwed up. Voices are very quite, but the music and explosions (etc) is really loud. It also seems like the surround sound does not work properly. Using the DVD player on my GBPVR would be a fine solution if I could get the surround sound to work. Does anyone have any suggestions? hints?
