Hi,

I have a WinTV 250 running with the latest version of GB-PVR. I finally got the Live TV to get a signal after fiddling for a while, but the image is garbled. The sound comes in with no problems, but the image looks like a split screen.

After looking at it a while longer, I realized the top half was a live, somewhat-scrambled version of the chanel I had tuned in with GB-PVR while the bottom half was a static image of the last image from the last chanel I viewed using the WinTV2000 player that came with the card (which, incidentally gets the channels perfectly).

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Justin

zip and attach a the gbpvr.exe-native.log and screenshot and I'll take a look.

Its probably your video decoder, but could possibly also be the nvidia aspect ratio bug if you have an nvidia card (try pressing F7 a half a dozen times to see if it corrects it).

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, F7 only served to change the shape of the odd video I'm seeing.

So, attached are the logs.

I was unable to get a screen capture - everything was transparent in my graphics viewer and/or came out black. Is there a keyboard shortcut for creating a screen capture from within GB-PVR? Or is there some freeware you would recommend?

Thanks,
Justin

OK, I'm guessing its your video decoder. What video decoder do you have selected on the playback tab of the config app? Dont use the 'System Default' setting.

Interesting would be to find how many posts start with "thanks for the quick reply" sort of thing...
* Rogers Analog Cable [Canada]
* Hauppauge WintTV PVR USB2
* IBM Thinkpad T42 / 1GB Mem / Centrino 1.6Ghz / 60GB HD / ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 + VGA/DVI out
* MCE Remote + Keyboard
* Win XP SP2 / GBPVR [Latest version. always]
* Pioneer HDTV via VGA (1360x768)
* MS Remote Keyboard
* Logitech Harmony 880 [via MS Remote Control Reciever]

Let's see ... I've got the System Default, the InterVideo NonCSS, and CyberLink for decoders. The errors shows up with the first two, and everything freezes with the third.
