Hi zehd,
I am trying to understand zProcess better. I read through the document on wiki and it seems zProcess supports conversion to avi. I do not have MVP and I will be using GB PVR to play the converted AVI . currently after running comskip and comcelan via post processing batch file when I play the file via GB PVR I have the episode information attached to the file. Dose using this tool will keep that Information attached to Compressed avi file?

Hi There...

Quote:zProcess supports conversion to avi

ZProcess can use either ffmpeg or mencoder to transcode an MPG to avi

You don't have to have an MVP to use ZProcess...

Quote:currently after running comskip and comcelan via post processing batch file

After using Comclean and Comskip the video file is probably still in the same location as the original, and still in MPG form. That's why you still have the information. If you convert to AVI but leave it in the same location that it was recorded, GB-PVR will still point to the file correctly, and you'll still see the information. (The information really comes from the GB-PVR database)

If you move the file, either MPG or AVI form, you'll lose the Program information...

I hope that helps...
