and the problems continue....
just added my third HVR card. Because it was cheep, and because i thought it wouldnt matter, its actually the MCE / non IR version of the card. unfortunately ir.exe now wont launch because it thinks theres no ir hardware available (even though the other two cards are IR versions).
I can disable the MCE card, launch ir.exe then reenable the MCE card and everything works fine - ive posted this on the hauppauge forums, but until i get a reply Im looking for a way to automate this.
Is it possible to dissable and enable PCI cards from the command line / batch file???
edit: forget that - i found devcon. just need to figure it out now....
