Ive allways have 14 days of epg data in my system.

would it not be a nice feature if you, in the screen reoccuring recordings, could have a icon or text telling you if your reoccuring recording is "up to date" mening, if your reoccuring recording doesent exist in your epg data, then its probably not an active reoccuring recording anymore.
(could be that the program has changed airing time, channel or there might be no more episodes.)

Maby you could remove the text "reoccuring" under the channel name, you are on the reoccuring screen so there wount be any other recordings there anyway i guess?

and then you could have space to insert either a text or an icon stating if its an active recording or not.

In addition to the above request, a particular show could be in syndication on a channel and continuously loop through all the episodes. So today GBPVR will record episode 1, tomorrow it'll record episode 2, etc. Three months later after the entire series has run through syndication, the network will start over again. It would be nice to have a setting that will match duplicates against anything previously recorded and not record the same episode again if I so choose. This would be another setting in the Schedule recording dialog box (obviously), and would require some method of archiving the Show title, episode title, and description so that the duplicate matching program would have a change to match what is new to be recorded against what is in the archive.

Take a look at CDK Scheduler and Rectracker that comes with XRecord. It pretty much does this.

There is already logic for the zap2it users to do exactly this, but its based on the show identifier zap2it supplies, since title + episode title + description usually cant be relied upon.
