I have a V-Stream XPERT DTV-DVB-T PCI Tv Card, and have recently downloaded GBPVR. After mapping the digital channels, which it comes up with all, at good strength and quality, when i go to watch them through 'live tv' nothing comes up???? When it does, it freezes. Signal strength should be absolutely fine, and my computer should be more than capable of handling the request.

I'm new to all this, so help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a mpeg-decoder installed? You do need one to watch livetv or recorded shows. You can see in gbpvr-config-playback. Don't leave it at default (who knows what that is) but choose one from the list box. If there isn't any then you have to install one.

Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.

I have nero and cyberlink (powerdvd decoders, in the dropdown menu). Neither appear to work, same problem. At the bottom of the config box, when i choose cyberlink it says 'Warning: Some installations of the Cyberlink decoder are not compatible with VMR' .......................... Any clues? Is powerdvd and nero no good as mpeg decoders? ARG

Did you try changing the video renederer, overlay/vmr7/vmr9 etc.
You could try posting the logs from the gbpvr\log dir. Somebody might take a look, I'll trySad . Sub is on holiday this week. So if it gets to complicated you'll have to wait.
