No Channels Have Been Set Up - zap2it

I'm a new user with a fresh install of 0.99.5. I'm running XP, with a K-world atsc 110. The card has been working with beyondtv, but the app was a hog so I'm looking for alternatives. I'm just trying to get the analog cable channels working for now, the ATSC will come later...

The problem is that when I try to go to the "Live TV" window I see the error message "No channels have been set up. Please run the Configuration utility and setup the EPG source. Use the 'Update EPG' button to force the system to import the latest set of channel and programme information."

After scouring the message boards I tried the the GBPVRBackendCommon.dll patch from 12-29 6:19version 1.0.2554.32861. No change in the results. Do I need to reregister this file? I just renamed the prev version and dropped this one in then rebooted.

The config logs seem to show that I'm getting the channel lineup from Zap2it ok, but I never see any program listings show up after the loadSchedule entry; I don't know if I should.

I can see my account in zap2it, zip 68135 using qwest cable.

One last detail that may help, after performing the update in the EPG the channel lineup shows, but none of the checkboxes are enabled. If I check the checkboxes and repeat the pull they uncheck themselves.

You'll only be able to get the digital side of this device working with GB-PVR. The analog side lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder.

Setting up the digital side requires creating the capture source, then hitting the 'map digital channels to epg channels' button to initiate the channel scan and map the channels.
