Black Screen on Recordings

Hi,

Please help,

Live TV plays fine, but every recording I make I get no video and only audio.
The files play the same in other players too

The screen is just black.

It used to work fine and I dont know what has happened to it at all.

I uninstalled GBPVR and reinstalled it, correctly configured my Hauppauge HVR1300 and still the same.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

If its any help, the ACtive Movie Windows pops up when recording starts and that is black too

I'm guessing its some old version of the Intervideo decoders which is not compatible with VMR. Have you tried any other video decoders, or alternatively tried switching to using the Overlay renderer?

Same with Overlay renderer, I have been using the InterVideo all the time really so it shouldnt be that.

The Active Movie Windows never popped up before so I think its something to do with that

Active Movie window thing is a good sign that Windows Directshow is failing to find a combination of components that can be hooked up together.

Its probably happened when you've installed or removed some other app that has somehow changed the set directshow filters available on your machine. Hard to guess what exactly.
