I scheduled a record the other day for the middle of the night. I had > 20 GB available on the HD at the time. The next day when I went to check the recorded show and I can no longer access the partition. Windows XP says the drive is unformatted and Windows Vista can't access the partition, but shows the partition as having only 4 MB available. I'm guessing the partition filled up and then some. Has anyone else run into this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

Do you have both OS's installed on the same computer? If so, which OS did you use to run GBPVR and record?

You could try hooking up that drive as a SECOND drive in another computer and see if you can access it that way, at least to get your data off...

No, I don't have both OS's installed on the same computer. GB-PVR is installed on my desktop that runs XP, and Vista is installed on my laptop. The HD is external connected via firewire.

Interesting... I have my laptop dualbooting between Vista and OpenSuse 10.2. I just booted into OpenSuse and I can access the partition with no problem. Kinda funny since the drive is NTFS.
