Hi sub

i got a few questions about the internal subtitles viewer.

1.is there a possibility to change subtitle position.
I would like to get the subtitles out of the picture while watching 16:9 films.
Actually, one line is in picture the other line is in the black border.

2.is there a possibility to change subtitle spacing beetween lines.

3.Is there still no possibility no change timing of subtitles while watching TV.

I can`t find words to thank you for your hard work and your immidiately support.

Thank you

The location and spacing is a skinning option. This is editable in 'C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\Blue\OSD\skin.xml'

From memory there is a <SubtitleDelay> setting in config.xml.

It's in gbpvr-config-misc: Enable SRT-viewer. You need a srt-file with the same name as the show it belongs to. E.g abcd.mpg or abcd.avi and abcd.srt.
The subtitledelay setting would be in config.xml.

Where are you?

There are already built in functions that do this, including recording the subtitles to a .srt file for you, but it only works with Teletext Subtitles, not the US Closed Caption system. There is also support for viewing DVB Subtitles in live tv.

Teletext Subtitles and DVB Subtitles are the mechanisms used for subtitles for pretty much everywhere outside the US/Canada.
