Hi I've now managed to get GB-PVR working after upgrading to Win XP and updating the drivers for my Nova-t 90002. Thanks for all the help before.

However I can't get any audio when playing DVDs in GB-PVR. I can get audio when using WMP11 and when using Cyberlink power DVD 7. I have tried changing the audio decoder to no effect.

Any suggestions?

Nvidia FX 5200
Hauppauge Nova-t 90002
WinXP Pro SP2
GB-PVR 0.99.5

It seems to be using the Intervideo NonCSS decoders, which cant cope with the audio and video contained on commercial DVDs. Do you have any other audio decoders you can use?

I've tried the system default, the NonCSS decoder (with a non CSS DVD) and the MPEG Audio decoder. Those are only ones I have. I am changing the audio decoder in the DVD & remote tab of GB-PVR config.

I'm pretty sure it is just down to the decoder.

The Cyberlink 7 audio decoder has some annoying logic in it which means it'll only work in Cyberlink software, or Windows Media Player - not third party non-licensing apps like GB-PVR.

I had the same problem. I changed from NVidia's PureVideo audio codec in the dvd section of the config app. to AC3filter audio codec from http://ac3filter.net/ and that fixed the problem.
