Folks,

Has anyone got the Remote Control eye from the Silverstone cases to work directly with GBPVR ? or is the my next development project ?

I've still driving my GBPVR with the Hauppauge IR sitting on the top of the case or have I missed something ?

Thanks
Regards Systemshark

Works fine for me, assume it is still using an iMON receiver. Just setup the iMON remote software with the keyboard shortcuts for GB-PVR.

Hi. I'm just about to get a Silverstone LC10M PC and want to run GBPVR. I've read a few threads about people having problems with getting the VFD screen working. Have all these issues been resolved.

The supplied software for the case is called iMedian (I think) and does some fancy audio equaliser bars when music is played. Is this possible when playing music through GBPVR? Also, does it play the details of the music such as song, singer etc?

TIA

Hi,

I have the same case and everything works fine. You should only install the iMON manager and not the iMedian suite, which IMHO is a piece of crap.

In the iMON manager, you can map all remote buttons onto the GBPVR keyboard shortcuts and that works fine for me. I have not (yet) linked the VFD display to GBPVR's operation, but that is on my todo list. Currently, I just use the iMON software for driving the display. In my current configuration, the display shows the current time and date continuously. If have also set it up to show which remote button is pressed; it then shows the logical name that you can enter when programming the keys. When I suspend my box, it shows a static welcome message, that you of course can configure any way you like.

You can also configure the iMON software to show the equalizer, but then it will show always; not just when your playing music, so I got tired of that quite soon.
