Well this is a second time that i'm trying to use the gbpvr software.
i'm using SAGETV until now.

Well my problem is very simple, i cant see a LiveTv, when i boot up my system and trying to see the LiveTv on GBPVR the picture is like out of tuning. black & white jummpy.......

If i'm getting out of the GBPVR software and runinig the WinTv2000 i can see a great pic, Then i'm starting up my Gbpvr software again and the pic is great !!!

What is that?? i can see livetv only if i'm rununig wintv or sage befor i'm runnig the gbpvr.

and if i'm usinig the pause on a LiveTv in the GBPVR after i'm using the play again the pic quality and sound is horrible.

Thanks

I'm using Pvr-350 the STB is connected to compsite of the card, i dont use the antena or cable tune.

i even tried the quartz.dll tweak to see f it solving the problem and it is not!

Sorry, I dont know. I've not come across anyone else with a similar problem.

Maybe try the composite2 or composite3 source setting instead of composite to see if it improves things.

Well the card have only one compsite, and it is working great in any other software that i have checkd.

i'm using SAGETV. i have tried the MediaPortal soft and it was working ok.
what is the different? is ther a way to tune the compsite out???

maybe the problem is in the PAL/NTSC ??

I would like some direction where to start.....

Well when i'm looking in the card setup of your program i see that it is allways trying to set it to SECAM.

if im switching to PAL-G with the Hauppuge Tweeaktool then it is fine.

but it is until the next restart...

How can i set even manualy the format to PAL-g and not SECAM-L

Thanks

i had this problem with my 350. open up the c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\direct.ini file, and change the

ForceStandard=0

setting, to

ForceStandard=16

and see if that works....or it might be ForceStandard=18...i cant remember. each value is a diferent TV standard. 16 is the one that matches mine, which i cant remember if its pal-g. This setting remains over restarts but if you upgrade GBPVR you need to edit the direct.ini again.

Well, sub knows a lot, but the PVR350 is an unsupported card and giving all the time he spents on this forum, development, and trying to keep his family happy, I think you should give him some more credit. but that's my opinion
