nova-t 500 pci card - you get 2 tuners in one card and it is fully supported by gbpvr

Yup, agreed.

thank you for the advices but the "nova-t 500 pci" isn't sold (yet) in Italy.
What about the "WinTV-NOVA-T-USB2 " ? Is it good card? What is "PCI" better than "USB2" card ?

you can get one from pixmania who distribute all over europe. Here you go:
http://www.pixmania.com/it/it/356879/art...wintv.html The USB2 also works fine BUT my USB2 used to duplicate my remote control signals, making it very difficult to use gbpvr. I prefer the PCI because: a) the remote control works perfectly b) it is hidden inside the pc c) it has 2 tuners which is VERY important to me.

Thank you for your kidness.
1) Reading on forums I found that Nova-T 500 has a few problems: a) waking up the PC, windows reinstall Nova-T device as 2 USB device b) Remote control causes several issues and hangs Do you confirm that ? 2) What do you think about Nova-T 500 (for DVB-T) and PVR150 MCE (for analog) ? Can them work together without problems?

I have not had any problems with my 500 card.
Based on the very quick look that I did on the hauppauge.co.uk forum, the S3 problems appear to relate to MCE and not the devices themselves. I did used to have occasional wakeup problems with the usb2. It is difficult to say whether this is because of the usb2 device or my motherboard. I run a script to check the device status and restart it if necessary (all using the devcon command). I was running a pvr-350 with my novat-500 and nova-t usb and it worked perfectly. Make sure that you only install the IR software for the device that will have the ir sensor installed.

Now my system has settled down it is much more stable and seems to wake from standby OK now.
Yes, it does seem to be a USB device with on-board USB chips, but I can't see a problem with that. I don't use it's remote. I have a pvr150 as well and use it's remote fine. Install nova-t-500 bda drivers first, disbale IR on nova-t, install pvr15 drivers and then the pvr15 IR stuff and it seems to work fine. Martin

the nova-t usb2. this problem be apparent when ir.exe would close after being restarted because it could not see the device.
