Loosing sound with comcut

Hi,

When I am running comcut on my files it looses sound. I assume it happens at the time where sound and picture is remuxed but I am not sure since I find no log files. The thing is that it works in some cases and in other not. The 2 files that are remuxed contains data.

I am using comcut (1.2 build 81 beta) through the UI (Batch Mode) and not command line.

Any ideas anyone? Any tests I can perform?

I have found the problem but no solution. It seems like the mpg file I have recorded with my Hauppauge PVR USB2 is somewhat corrupt, because after 6 minutes in the movie it stutters and after that point the sound is lost if I have run comcut.

I have tried the tool "retime" but with no success, actually the same problem happens there.

So my question is if anyone knows of a good tool to correct corrupt recorded files?
