Problem - Sassari with "my programs" plugin

When I try to access "my programs" plugin with the Sassari skin( red or blue) it will open but with the original gbpvr blue skin. I have tried with the latest versions of Sassari availible in the Wiki but with no luck

The task.png is loaded from the sassari_red\my programs directory but everything else seem to be loaded from the default gbpvr blue skin directory :confused:

My Programs is version 3 beta1.

Anyone have a solution cause I really like this skin ?

I cant seem to find where the skinhelper is initialized for my programs, and when I rename the folders it doesnt load the task image.

I just installed both versions from the wiki, and my programs (I am on my dev machine) and everything worked fine. I am not sure what to tell you other than try installing everything again. sorry.

I am guessing that sub wont look at this thread, so I suggest waiting a bit then reposting your problem in the support forum.

unless fatman_do or sub have anything to say here?

Yes, I guess that is the way to go...As when I think of it maybe it should be the best to reinstall everything from scratch

Ted, I really appreciate your job. It´s the best skin ever and I can tell you that it has a really high WAF at my home, and my kinds just LOVE it.

Dottore did all the work, I would never take credit for that, all I did was edit his stuff to make my red version. But thanks for the praise.

just make sure you back up your recordings before you try to do everything from scratch. and I would suggest just uninstalling and reinstalling first.

I reinstalled the computer yesterday ( from the beginning with OS, gbpvr, plugins, Sassari skin etc) but the problem still exists:confused: I will try to solve it (with help from this forum) when I´m back home on monday...

that is extremely odd, where did you get your installers for everything?

another hack you could do is copy the skin files over to the blue skin... but results could be questionable

I looked at the logs also and nothing jumped out at me. My Programs is tied to the skin.xml by a version number. Since I no longer have the MyPrograms version that I skinned for (Sassari uses the same version), I cannot compare them.

Open the "blue" version of the My Programs skin.xml file that got installed and tell us what version is listed in the second line. Chances are, the version you have may be an older version than what Sassari is skinned for (which is <Version>5.0</Version>).

I'm back, and here is what I've done:

First of all the version of skin.xml is 5.0 in both the blue skin and sassari_red skin.

I copied the _res, my programs and my series directories from sassari_red to blue. Then gbpvr crashed when I tried to start. I restored the blue my series directory and gbpvr fired up normal. Now my programs show just fine with the sassari_red skin excepts for buttons as I guess they are declared within the my series directory.

This is really strange :confused: :confused: :confused: It looks like the my programs plugin doesn't even try to load from the sassari_red directory !

Everything is downloaded from the wiki or from the startpage except for my programs plugin that is downloaded from the following thread as Reven doesn't develop it anymore:
