Trouble with HIP and vol up and down

Hi, I have configure HIP to work with the HTPC and my AMP. I have configured the up and down volume of the MCE remote to send the AMP up and down volume IR signals via the IR Blasters. However I cannot hold down the button to increase the volume, I have to press the up/down buttons quickly repeatably to increase of decrease volume on the AMP. Anyone else had this problem and know of a way to fix it?

I assume you used your MCE remote to "learn" the volume controls from your amp's remote? Try the learning process again, only instead of tapping your amp's remote volume buttons, press and hold them for a second.

Don't know if this will solve your problem, but this has worked for me with other learning remote combinations.
