I had the first recording done today with the new version.
When we came to watch it, the first problem i saw was that the time-bar at the top showed
00:00 ========= 00:00
However, the recording played fine.

Then, I noticed that if I stoped and came back to it, it didn't suggest to "resume".

Also, there was no com-skiping.

And to top it, at 33:20 it stopped playing the file (got stuck with the last frame on the screen).

I was scared the recording didn't finish (not nice to watch half episde of a suspense show).
I checked the actual MPG file. The previous episode was 2.9GB, but the new one was 1.8.

However, playing it with another software worked fine throughout.

What was the recording? and what time was it supposed to start/end, so that I can look in the recording service logs.

Recording was "Jericho", from 8pm-9pm.
Again, it recorded fine, but the playback was funny.

Do you still have the recording? There are tools out there (PVAstrumento is free) that can check the timestamps, and tries to fix it for you.
I'm not always right

Cyberlink PowerDVD played the file fine, including fast-forward, etc. and showing normal timestamp advance. Still have the file.

Attached is the log of this PVAStrumento. I am not sure how to read it, it shows some issues, but I never used it before. Don't know if these are critical, or the culprit of what I saw.

Is that happening for you with every recording, or did it just happen on one recording?

I didn't have a recording since. I can schedule one today. You think it will matter if it will be a season recording (like that one that acted up), or can I just schedule a single recording to test?
