Sorry for this stupid question.
How can I check if, in a multi PVR150 setup, if each of the PVR150's is configured correctly?
I assume the first one is used by live TV, that goes quick.
When I start a recording without live TV active, will that allocate the first PVR150, so when I then start Live TV the second tuner will be used?

IIRC, when recording the tuners are used from the top down, and when watching live tv the tuners are used from bottom up. Is that what you are asking?

So, is this what will happen?

No recording
Live TV: tuner 2

One recording: Tuner 1
Live TV: tuner 2

How to get live TV from tuner 1 to check the channel settings?

Disable channel X on tuner 1 (checkbox in the config app). Make a recording on channel X. It will then record on tuner 2. Then watch live tv. It will use tuner 1.

(You will of course not be able to check channel settings for channel X with my approach, you'd need to enable that channel and disable another one for that... but I think you understand that Wink)

Is this tuner allocation strategy documented somewhere?

It's been mentioned several times in the forums. Don't know if it's actually documented (as in wiki).

Yes, and it's actually a little bit more complicated than that. Things can get moved around to try to adjust for paddings and stuff, so it's not an absolute truth...
