Z,

How does this affect ZProcess users?

- changes to the way RGB -> YUV colour space conversion works on the MVP. Should improve colour rendition, and fix a problem reported by one user on an LCD screen.

My assumption is that is doesn't. Right?

I would say that this is not relevent to the colour issue MVP users report, and what ZProcess and MEncoder try to help with...

BTW, how's it going?

Hi Z,

I upgraded to the latest Z today. I am attaching a screen capture, to make sure that my settings are still correct...
I am VERY VERY happy with the Dirmon-ZProcess setup - I can finally use FF!
I might be in the market for an HDTV within the next few months, so I wonder if there will be an HDTV version for the MVP...

ZProcess is amazing. I was about to return my MVP before I found it. I watch AVI's of TV shows and always had issues with the aspect ratio and color. ZProcess solved them all.

It has other features that I don't use currently.

tipstir Wrote:Wow, that's separate program right? I 've never bother with the Zprocess before with MVP. Does this work if so what's the results? Can it work with both 4:3 MVP and 16:9 MVP on the same network at the same time?

Right now for HDTV the only box that seems to work is direct PC (laptop more quiet than a full desktop running GBPVR) to HDTV using HDMI connector. VGA to DVI to HDMI is the only way to do it if you don't have a box that doesn't support DVI directly.. MVP will only show 480i SD on HDTV @ 16:9 using S-Video still not bad.

Welcome to ZProcess. Tipster, I'm hurt that you haven't read or checked out my software. I've read EVERYTHING you've written... Well maybe not...

Anyway, my very latest task to be performed, which I'm probably going to work on tonight is ZProcess's ability to see the difference between two or more MVPs on a network, and use separate profiles.

Yes, ZProcess handles HD, except it's all based around the size of your outside dimensions. (720x480, 640x480, 352x240 etc...)

If you have your TV and MVP set to 16:9, a letterbox AVI will fill the screen. a 4x3 will pillarbox...

If you try it and have any questions, just shoot...

This change only affected the menus, not video.

One user's LCD clearly identified every second column on the screen being a slightly different colour. This has always been the case, but for some reason his TV highlighted the difference. Most people dont notice this difference. There was a minor tweak to stop this happening.

I'm going to make a specific profile settings save, so that you can back up your settings and always import them again.

Your setting look fine. But then it's all a matter of preference. Is it looking fine for you?

Wow, I had no idea you were that close to throwing in the towel. I'm glad I helped out...
