Changes in Blue skin in 99.12?

Was there a change in the default Blue skin for 99.12?
I seem to have few issues:
- The one, is that some of the text seem to be closer to the edges (my TV does a slight over-scan with DVI/HDMI, so it's a bit annoying). The name of the aspect ("Auto"), the "Subtitles enabled" and the show description at the bottom of the screen.
- The other - when showing mini-guide, then OK for a show details, the buttons on the left overrun the text on the right.

All seems to be new since this version.

There was no changes that would have affected those.

The only skin changes were the addition of the Easy View screen, and a couple of additional option values used in the 'next recording' panel.

It sounds like you need to tweak the <OverScanBorderXxx> settings in config.xml.

Can you post a screenshot for the second one of these?

Thanks, I'll play with this tonight.
Has anything related to this changed lately? it seemed to be fine in 99.5, whereas I would see my TV clips a tiny space around the video, but the texts ("Subtitles Enable", "Auto/Remove LetterBox", etc) would appear within the screen.

some minor changes were made to the skin for the OSD TV guide, but it only really affects those using HD skins

And here is the first thing. I don't remember those texts to be so close to the edge. There's seems to be 1 pixel between the "Fill" and the edge.

(again, this screen is taken from the client, on the server, this is sliced partially by the plasma's overscan).

out of curiosity, what was wrong, was it a skin problem? or something with how the skin was rendered... basically I am asking if all skins need to be changed on the next release?


and madcat, you can just edit the skin to make it work better for you there are many people who can help you if you need help with that

I'm not saying something is broken. I just think something has changed.

Ok, now I checked on another machine, and it's clearly further from the top (same skin, same version!). Can you help me figure out what controls the position of this text? (assuming i didn't change the skin, nor did I change the OverScan settings [yet]). Would it be the decoder/renderer?
