Having a bear of a time getting GB-PVR to scan properly with HDHR. In the Digital Channel Mapping window, a scan turns up multiple entries, but they are ALL THE SAME! There are 69 entries of the channel that was last tuned by HDHR's GUI program!

I even tried changing channels with HDHomeRun, then launching Config and Scanning again (where again it will turn-up multiple entries of this last tune) then selecting the new channel as a Tuning Request, but GB-PVR still does not tune any more than one channel.

Using latest 99.12 and 0301 of HDHomeRun. Any ideas???

Do the channel scan, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Thanks, here ya go.

Note I'm only using an antenna OTA here; normally I should see 4 or 5 channels tuned, physical us 21, 22, 33, and 43.

From what I can tell looking at those logs, the HDHomeRun BDA drivers are ignoring tuning requests, and staying on the on specific frequency. The logs look like GB-PVR is successfully asking it to change channels, but the device is ignoring it.

Does the HDHomeRun drivers produce logs? If so, attach it's logs from a channel scan and I'll take a look. I've never seen its logs before, so I dont know if they'll mean much to me, but I'll take a look.

Ideally post a matching set of logs so I can compare timestamps across them all.

It's located at c:\hdhomerun_bda.log

I'll look at it too.

If both are giving trouble, just repeat these steps.
Open the hdhomerun manager and right click the tuner that is giving trouble.
Press "Uninstall". reboot the computer.
Open hdhomerun manager and right click the tuner.
Press "Install".
Start GB-PVR and try a scan.

Laserfan, do what whurlston recommends. After the scan though, can you post the config.exe.log, config.exe-native.log and the c:\hdhomerun_bda.log? I'd like to see a set of all three from the same scan so that I can compare times.

whurlston, does the hdhomerun_bda.log normally show the frequencies its trying to tune to? I couldnt see them with the quick look I had.
