I'm not sure of the best resolution to this annoying niggle.
I have four "sources" at the moment - 2 DVB-T on a nova-t-500, 1 on the RF analogue aerial side of a PVR150 and 1 on the RF, fixed channel to STB of the same PVR150.
EPG all sources are pointing to the same EPG source - xmltvgui from the RadioTimes in the UK.
If a new channel comes in from the EPG, then it gets added to all four tuners and is "enabled". The DVB ones have no tuning info, but the RF one gets the next available RF channel and the RF/STB one gets the next available satellite channel. Even though the channel is probably not broadcast on that device/channel. Sods law proves right in that any recording will use the wrong source.
What I'd like is that any new channel from the EPG is NOT enabled by default and has to be enabled manually on the right source. I realise this would be a real pain for others, hence my first comment about not knowing the best way out of this. (a manual config.xml entry?)
regards
Martin (who has just 'un-enabled' 8 channels from three sources=24 unticks).
Yes, and can config be tweaked so that a mouse click on a box will untick it without having to highlight the line first
