I read the wiki and it wasn't all that helpful : (
Here's what I'm working with:
Hauppauge PVR-150 w/ Hauppauge Remote
Hauppauge WinTV IR Blaster
I'm trying to set up the IR blaster and I have no idea how to get it working. I've run the blaster config file in the Hauppauge folder, and I can get my set top box to change channels and turn on off etc. What I can't get it to do is interface with GBPVR. Maybe the Hauppauge IR software is only supposed to work on WinTV?
Here's what I've done:
Start Config - Capture Sources Tab - Added a channel called HBO - Recorning Source set to Direct Plugin, EPG Source on "none", and .exe Changer Plugin selected - Settings on Plugin point to the IR.exe (program files\WinTV\IR.exe), in the parameters box it says "{channel} 550"
When I start GB-PVR, I can see channel 550 in my TV Guide. When I select that channel, the IR doesn't change my set top box to channel 550 though. I must be missing something.
Any input?
Maybe I should use a freeware IR software. If that's the case, please let me know of a good one.
